Russ 14.JPGRev. Russ Wilson was appointed as the Canada West Superintendent on July 1, 2014.  Prior to that, Russ had pastored throughout Western Canada for over 30 years.  He pastored our AGC church in Maryfield Saskatchewan and then moved on to church plant for us in Canmore, Alberta.  While in the AGC, Russ served in a variety of capacities on the Western Region Council.  His latest ministry had been with Cornerstone Church which is a multi staff, independent church in Saskatoon.

Russ and Sue also served as missionaries with Campus Crusade For Christ in Montreal for several years where they attended People's Church.  This time of service helped develop a deeper understanding of God's heart for those outside the church.  His churches have always had a focus on the lost as well as the downtrodden both locally and abroad.  This is a passion he brings to his new role as Canada West Superintendent.

Russ is excited about the church and its role within our western communities. He seeks to assist our pastors with establishing a clear vision and mandate for their local church.  Russ believes the call to make disciples has to be at the very center of everything we do. In every community he has served Russ has been active in local sports/boards and committees.

Russ and Sue have three adult children and four grandchildren.

Lorne has a passion to see a movement of churches across Canada that is intentional about making committed disciples of Jesus who make other disciples.

The Meisners currently serve at City Church, an 8 year old intentionally intercultural church ministering to refugees and immigrants in the heart of Winnipeg. They have accepted the invitation to be a part of a church plant to reach the 30,000 Punjabi speaking people in Winnipeg.
