The Lord spoke to me this past week through a variety of sources all on the same topic. At a time when there are endless excellent things that call me to them, God seemed to say to me these words of Jesus in the context of speaking to religious professional doers such as myself.
“You have neglected the more important matters of the law, - justice, mercy and faithfulness.” Matthew 23:23.
I had listened to a message on “Priorities”, read two articles on the “Kingdom of God” and “Transformation”. All were saying don’t lose sight of God, the poor, and the ordinary people of this world. I thank God that He keeps speaking even when I don’t always listen very well.

Western Regional Conference – April 10th - 13th 2008
This conference in Calgary will be a great time of focusing on past, present and future. Pastor Mike Pawelke will provide excellent ministry for both the Pastors and wives. It will be the best of a lot of things coming together.
Quebec Celebration April 18th to 20th 2008
The Haitian brethren are putting together a weekend of celebration as Beulah and I enjoy their hospitality and seek to minister at a number of meetings. Thanks brothers!
AGC National Conference, June 5-8th Ancaster (Hamilton)
All the stops have been pulled out for these days together as we look to the future. Donna is very encouraged with the early registrations. Pastor Ian Campbell will bring some challenging ministry focused on what shape the church might take in the future. He is a practitioner and understands modern movements in Canada better than most.
South Asian Ministry/Education Trip, January 6 – 24th 2009
This trip more than any other that I’ve been a part of takes us to India and China, the most populous nations in the world. We will also be seeing ministries in Nepal and Hong Kong. Pastors, if you are interested in coming, or if people in your church would like to come, please contact me soon because space is limited.
