Looking for: Senior Pastor

Bethel Church, located in downtown Kingston, Ontario and affiliated with the Associated Gospel Churches, is prayerfully searching for a Senior Pastor. We are a congregation of more than six hundred people, almost half of which are college and university students.

The successful candidate will be a visionary servant-leader with well developed abilities to shepherd a diverse congregation, envision outreach potential to our neighbours, and motivate those within our community. With several years of ministry experience, preferably at an associate or senior level, he will have at least an undergraduate level education in a relevant discipline. He will be a gifted teacher who can apply academic and theological principles and communicate them to all adherents. His ability to develop and articulate a clear evangelical vision for the church is also a key component towards fulfilling our vision to
empower our congregation, impact our community, and engage our students.

Kingston is located mid-way between Toronto and Montreal at the gateway to the St. Lawrence River and the Thousand Islands. Rich in culture, history, entertainment, and recreation, our community is considered to be one of the best places to live in Canada and in the world.
