Looking for: Senior Pastor

Grace Bible Church of Dauphin, Manitoba, a member church of the Associated Gospel Churches, is seeking a full time pastor to provide a sound Bible-based preaching and teaching ministry. The successful candidate will have a proven background of modeling and teaching scriptural truths; must demonstrate the leadership qualities required to effectively challenge and equip existing leadership for the ministries of the church, and develop new leaders. He must have the abilities necessary to reach out and work with our community in new and meaningful ways in response to the Great Commission.

As Pastor, he will be expected to:

• Inspire the spiritual growth of the congregation
• Foster healthy spiritual working relationships between leadership and members, and facilitate biblical resolution of developing issues.
• Place a strong emphasis on developing youth ministry.
• Facilitate a vibrant and meaningful music ministry.
• Show commitment to local, national and global missions.
• In conjunction with the elders, visit the sick, shut-ins, and those requiring pastoral care.
• Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills in teaching, preaching and facilitating.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal skills in mentoring and discipling.

Educational requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Divinity, Theology or equivalent from an approved University, Seminary or Christian college.
• Accreditation with the Associated Gospel Churches.
