THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Please note:we appreciate your interest for serving in the AGC, we only accept applications from Canadian residents or from applicants who are currently in conversation with an AGC church. In the latter case, we require the church to contact the National Coordinator of Doctrine and Credentials at doccred@agcofcanada.com with a request to process the application. 

  1. Familiarize yourself with our application process as contained in the document “Entering the AGC Ministry” available here and outlined below.
  2. Complete the Self-Test Questionnaire save it as Lastname, First initial  STQ.pdf and email it to doccred@agcofcanada.com.
  3. Upon successful review of the STQ, the National Coordinator of Doctrine and Credentials will provide you with further forms, links and instructions that are required for the application process.  These will include: 
  • A General Bible Knowledge Assessment
  • The Ministry Application Form
  • Reference Form (3 required)
  • A link to the Ministry Match Assessment (cost: $40 U.S)

Be advised that your application will only be processed when all required documents have been received. 

  1. Upon successful review of your application, the NCDC will issue you a Letter of Compatibility with the AGC, which provides you with a green light for entering conversation with an AGC church.
  2. When an AGC church expresses serious interest in a potential candidate, they must submit a request for a Doctrine and Credentials Interview to be arranged.  When arranged, the church should expect to have representatives present for the interview.

Bridletowne Park Church in Scarborough, ON is seeking a Youth Pastor on a part-time basis. 

Ministry Purpose: provide leadership to our student ministries, with assistance and guidance from the Lead Pastor and Elders, with a focus on discipleship and outreach.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a growing and maturing Christian walk
  • Able to lead and disciple others
  • Demonstrates a servant’s heart
  • Able to be an effective team player in shared ministry leadership
  • Willingness to grow and learn as a leader
  • Has a desire to share the gospel with others, having a concern for the lost
  • Has a heart and calling for student ministries, including some experience in organization of a well-balanced program (events, discipleship and service opportunities)

Chinese Gospel Church  (www.chinesegospelchurch.net) is a multi-site, multi-congregation church established in 1963 ministering in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin at its Toronto and Scarborough sites.

Our Vision:  To be a missional community seizing every opportunity to share the gospel.

Our established downtown English-speaking congregation of 180 adults plus 30 children is currently seeking a full-time English-speaking Lead Pastor.

Looking for: Senior Pastor

Welcome to ministry in Fort Vermilion, Alberta.

Faith Gospel Fellowship is a member church of the Associated Gospel Churches and has been in the community for over 40 years. On any given Sunday we have approximately 70 people in attendance and are a diverse group known as a warm and loving family, but are not without our struggles. Presently we are under the ministry of a transitional pastor who is preparing us for a full time pastor. We are a congregational-led church with a full board and are seeking a pastor for equipping the congregation through sound biblical teaching. We are involved in AWANA, Sunday school and community outreach and enjoy potlucks and Sunday church picnics with neighboring families and friends. A four bedroom parsonage is located next door to the church and is offered alongside a modest salary.

Looking for Pastor for Children’s Ministry

Definition:

The Pastor for Children is a full-time pastor who is responsible to lead the ministry that reaches and develops children ages birth through sixth grade so that they become more and more like Christ. Working together with the lay children’s ministry staff, he will lead, promote and oversee the spiritual formation of children by teaching them to worship, learn and obey the Word, win others to Christ, serve the body and participate in community.  He will also be responsible to teach and assist young parents in the development of biblical parenting skills so that young families are being formed spiritually.

We are seeking a pastor to assist our church leadership and congregation in making Disciples of Jesus. The church leadership consists of a six member elder team whose primary mandate is to oversee the spiritual and relational components of church life, and the church leadership team (CLT) whose primary mandate is to oversee the managerial/administrative aspects of body life. Our transition pastor nears the end of his committed time with us.

Our new pastor will discover a well blended demographic from various rural backgrounds, a committed core number who attend regularly, an awareness of the Holy Spirit’s diverse gifting and many who are willing to be involved.
